Woman may seek compensation for head injury

A head injury sustained in a road traffic accident could result in a woman seeking compensation for her ordeal.

According to online resource STV, a 21-year-old female is having treatment in hospital for injuries to her head and legs after a collision took place in Hamilton earlier this week (June 6th).

It has been confirmed that she crashed with a skip lorry before hitting a tree on Motherwell Road and if the investigation into the accident reveals she was not at fault, the motorist could opt to seek a personal injury compensation settlement.

Emergency services were called to the incident and the injured driver was taken to nearby Wishaw General Hospital - an institution managed by NHS Lanarkshire - for treatment.

Recently, a 50-year-old haulier needed attention at hospital after sustaining whiplash in a road traffic accident with two vans - the drivers of which were thought to be at fault - on the A66 highway in Brough.
